Troubleshooting on Audio Aadpter

My USB‑C to 3.5mm adapter doesn’t work on my phone.

Phones implement either analog audio over USB‑C pins or digital USB audio. If your phone removed analog pins, you need a DAC‑type adapter. Check your phone model and pick an adapter that states “integrated DAC / digital audio.”

Can I use the microphone on my wired headset?

Ensure the adapter and phone support TRRS (CTIA) mic input. OMTP headsets may need a CTIA/OMTP converter. Some adapters only support stereo output and won’t pass mic signals.

Is there audio delay for gaming and live streaming?

No. This USB audio adapter uses a dedicated DAC chip for direct digital-to-analog conversion, which introduces negligible latency (typically <10ms). It is ideal for real-time applications like gaming, live streaming, and video calls, as it bypasses internal sound processing and operates at a high sampling rate (24-bit/96kHz).

Does this enable CarPlay/Android Auto via AUX?

No. AUX is analog audio only. CarPlay/Android Auto require specific USB or wireless protocols supported by the head unit. Use the car’s dedicated USB port or a wireless dongle designed for your car model.

Only one side of my earphones has sound.

Fully insert the plug; clean lint from the jack; check for TRS vs TRRS mismatch; test with another headset. If balance settings or mono‑audio are enabled in Accessibility, reset them to defaults.

Can I record from an external microphone to my phone/PC?

Yes if the adapter and OS support USB Audio Class (UAC). For phones, some camera/recording apps allow selecting the USB mic. On PCs, choose the USB audio device in DAW/recording software and set sample rate/bit depth accordingly.
