Shipping Policy

ping with KiWiBiRD. This page explains how we ship orders placed on www.ikiwibird.com.
We currently ship orders via Amazon’s fulfillment network (FBA). In the near future, we may also offer direct shipping from KiWiBiRD warehouses—the rules for that scenario are included below so you won’t need a new policy later.

1) Order & Confirmation

  • After checkout, you’ll receive an order confirmation email.
  • We begin preparing Amazon-fulfilled orders immediately.
  • Change/Cancel window: You may request an address change or cancellation within 30 minutes of placing the order by emailing
    support@ikiwibird.com. After this window, changes aren’t guaranteed. If the parcel has already shipped, please refuse delivery or contact us for next steps.

2) Fulfillment Methods

A. Fulfilled by Amazon (default for now)

  • Who ships: Amazon is our logistics partner and will choose the carrier (e.g., Amazon Logistics, UPS, USPS, DPD, Royal Mail, etc.) based on your address and service availability.
  • Where we deliver: We ship to the destinations shown at checkout. Some remote areas may be excluded under Amazon coverage.
  • Processing time: Most in-stock items leave the warehouse within a couple of business days.
  • Estimated delivery time: Most orders arrive within about a week after dispatch for standard service, depending on destination and carrier capacity. During peaks, severe weather, or local restrictions, delivery may take longer.
  • Tracking: You’ll receive a shipment email with tracking once your order departs; the first scan may appear after a short delay.
  • Split shipments: Multiple-item orders may ship separately from different Amazon facilities; you’ll receive tracking for each parcel.
  • Address changes after dispatch: Rerouting isn’t available once a parcel is en route. With your tracking number, your local carrier may offer delivery holds or pickup options.

B. Direct Shipping by KiWiBiRD (coming soon)

This section applies once self-shipping is enabled. Until then, please refer to Section 2A.

3) Shipping Fees

Any shipping fees or free-shipping offers (if available) are displayed at checkout and may vary by destination, order value, or promotion.

4) Taxes & Duties

Amazon-fulfilled orders: Any applicable taxes for your destination are calculated at checkout. Amazon’s network manages delivery and import processes where applicable.

Direct shipping (future): In some countries, import duties, taxes, and fees may be collected by the carrier or customs upon arrival. These charges (if any) are the recipient’s responsibility unless stated otherwise at checkout.

5) Delivery Issues & Delays

Circumstances such as invalid/insufficient addresses, remote locations, customs inspection, severe weather, or holiday peaks can cause delays.

If your tracking hasn’t updated for an extended period or the parcel is past its expected window, email
support@ikiwibird.com with your order number and tracking link. We’ll coordinate with the carrier/Amazon and update you promptly.

6) Undeliverable & Return-to-Sender

Please ensure your name, street address, postal code, and phone number are complete and accurate. Parcels returned due to incorrect/incomplete addresses, failed delivery attempts, or unclaimed pickup may be refunded minus shipping costs (where charged) or reshipped after we confirm a correct address (additional postage may apply).

7) Lost, Damaged, or Wrong Item

Damaged or wrong item received: Contact support@ikiwibird.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and order details—we’ll make it right.

Suspected loss / “delivered but not received”: Contact us. We may request a non-receipt affidavit and will liaise with the carrier/Amazon to resolve the case.

8) Order Cancellations (recap)

  • Within 30 minutes of purchase: Email support@ikiwibird.com to request cancellation or address correction.
  • After dispatch: Orders cannot be canceled or rerouted. Please refuse the package or follow our Returns & Refunds Policy instructions.

9) How to Track Your Order

Use the tracking link in your shipment email. Some carriers may take a short time to display the first scan. For Amazon-fulfilled shipments, tracking may show on an Amazon tracking page or the carrier’s website once activated.
